A Summer Glass Hill Elopement | Lynchburg Wedding Photographer
So these two had everything planned out to have one the most beautiful weddings we have ever shot! Mehgan has incredible style (she’s a designer so of course everything would be beautiful!) and as a photographer, I was practically drooling over all her details!! They wanted to get married on 7/11 just for the free Slurpees. I’m joking haha! But they had all these amazing plans for their day and then…. COVID.
As I write this, the state of VA hasn’t completely opened up as normal and for them to have invested in their day like they had it just didn’t make sense to celebrate with the travel restrictions and limited number of guests. Thankfully all their vendors had one day left in the fall so these two can celebrate how they envisioned. However, they didn’t want to wait until September to be married?!
I could have cried when Mehgan said they wanted us to be there for their elopement!! This is why I love our couples! I am so excited for these two and their big party coming this fall but I have to admit that this day with them was extra special for James and I!
The view of the mountains and the stunning blue sky with clouds just give me chills! I love living in Virginia for views like this!! This is why Glass Hill Venue is one of my favorite venues in Virginia! Another perk of Glass Hill Venue is they allow pets!! Ranger, Chad & Mehgan’s golden retriever, was their ring bearer for the ceremony and did so well sitting for the ceremony. You don’t want to miss him all dressed up with a bow tie and his hilarious isle walk with Hannah either!! PS: Hannah is fine and they both made it down the isle!
All in all, I am so glad these two decided to get married early and I am so blessed that they wanted to share their day with us! Enjoy a few of my favorites from this early morning elopement at Glass Hill Venue!
