Glass Hill Engagement Session | Lynchburg Wedding Photographer
I have been looking forward to this session since these two got engaged at the Biltmore Estate this past June!! (Check out that post HERE). We have grown to be such good friends with Mehgan and Chad!! So this session was a FUN one! They wanted a special photo for their Save The Dates that included their golden pup Ranger!! James and I, being dog people, LOVED this idea!!
When our couples include their dogs in shoots it can be a challenge sometimes. Ranger is such a well behaved happy pup so we knew this little family shot was going to be adorable! He posed so well for the photos and stole the show while he was with us. I also loved the nice collar and leash they brought just for the shoot! So if you are planning your engagement session with your pup make sure to bring a nice solid color collar or maybe splurge for a leather one!!
This engagement session was a bit longer than normal because they wanted some extra photos with Ranger and a few outfit changes! We also took advantage of the beautiful fall colors on the peek weekend for leaves!! Glass Hill really does have phenominal views for their couples. It was our first time there with one of our sweet couples and we were excited to explore the property!
We wanted to save the epic view for the golden hour glow and started out exploring down near the pond, and on the side on the property! The trees were gorgeous everywhere you looked so picking portrait locations was so easy. You’ll see a bonus shot (that I debated on including) that involves a tractor, per Chad’s request. I wasn’t sure it would fit their aesthetic but I actually love it in black in white! So enjoy that bonus photo Chad! haha!
I cannot wait for Mehgan’s bridal portraits coming this spring and their wedding on Slurpee day 7/11/20!! Enjoy some of my favorites from this beautiful Glass Hill engagement session!
