Nice To Meet Me Monday Series | Virginia Wedding Photographer
If you have been following us for any amount of time you know that on the first Monday of the month I share a personal post so that you can get to know me! Well for the first time I am sharing a post all about my husband and business partner James. He was “thrilled” as you can imagine to hear about this. I asked him 10 of the 20 questions I answered from the “Meet Emily” post (you can find that HERE).
He doesn’t like being in the spot light and doesn’t like being featured like this but I begged him to do this for me. He agreed to 10 questions haha! So hopefully you learn something new about James! He doesn’t open up much but he does so much for this business and I wanted to share some fun things about him so you can get to know him!!
1.If you didn’t have to sleep, what would you do with the extra time?
I would take the time to properly learn how to play golf. I love to play but I don’t have the time that it takes to improve my game.
2. What hobby would you get into if time and money weren’t an issue?
I would love to be proficient with home projects like wood working, building things, and customizing pieces for our home!
3. What are some small things that make your day better?
A good home cooked meal, when the pups greet me at the door when I get home from work, and the sound of my phone alert for Fox News updates.
4. Who is your go to band or artist when you can’t decide on something to listen to?
Twenty One Pilots or Coldplay. I love these bands because the variety in their music and the deep meaning in their songs. Twenty One pilots has amazing branding and styles that I love! My favorite cover is the Blurry Face album.
5. What’s the farthest you’ve ever traveled from home?
Waco, Texas in May of 2018. I would love to travel to Italy and Scotland in the future!
6. What is something that a ton of people are obsessed with but you just don’t get the point of?
The game of basketball. I think it is the most boring sport and do not get any enjoyment out of watching the games.
7. What kind of job did you want as a kid?
I thought it would the coolest thing to be a race car driver! I have always had an interest in fast cars. That’s probably why my favorite car would be the Corvette Stingray! Currently my dream car is a Tesla Model S P40 (he made sure that I included the P40 as if I knew what that meant).
8. What is your favorite hobby to do alone?
Play video games. My favorite childhood games were:
Halo 3
Star Wars Battlefront 2
Elder Scrolls: Skyrim
9. What is something you can’t go a day without doing?
Drinking Dr Pepper or a coke with a lime. I am trying to drink more water but no matter what I always have one of these drinks every day.
10. The last one I had to make wedding related because it’s what we do:
If you could redo your wedding what would you do differently?
I would probably have hired my friends in this industry, Dele or Logan! Having done video for my day job I would’ve liked to see what our day looked like through a videographers perspective.
He also wanted me to share some extra photos from our Twenty One Pilots concert he took on his phone so here are some bonus shots haha
