But we also have over 5 years of experience to offer you peace of mind before the wedding, on the day of, and afterwards! Before the wedding I help plan out all the details that are important to your daughter and your family!! That way James and I are prepared to serve your family how you all need on the day of.
We have encountered so many unexpected things on wedding days from bad weather, a ripped wedding dress, late groomsmen, ripped suits, missing wedding cake, etc. So trust me when I say, we can help with anything that comes up that day. We want ya'll to remain stress free and have fun on the wedding day!

how do i book?
First step is to fill out the inquiry form on our website. We will send you our pricing info full of information. If we are your team, all that's needed to officially book is a signed contract & paid retainer. We don't book with every couple that inquires because it's important we are a good fit!
How far out do you book dates? When should i book?
We are currently booking 2023-2025 wedding dates. I know 2 years out seems far away but not in the wedding world! Dates are filled quickly and we only accept 15-18 weddings a year. The further out you book, the more you'll have your pick of vendors, spread out the payments making things more affordable, and have your pick of the season for your engagement photos!
HOW MANY PHOTOGRAPHERS ARE INCLUDED?
Two photographers; You get the husband and wife duo! When we can, we love to bring a wedding day assistant to help us & they capture the day for social media & get bonus coverage (iPhone videos) of your day! You would also get those bonus videos from us after the wedding!
do you offer multi-day coverage?
As of 2023, we now offer our "Weekend to Remember" package for both USA & Destination Weddings! If you want your Rehearsal Dinner, Welcome Party, After Party, Post-Wedding Brunch covered, we offer these services as an add on. Or you can book our weekend package to get so much more in that experience!
SO YOU TRAVEL...
WHAT IS THE TRAVEL FEE?
All wedding day travel fees are included in your package price. Engagement sessions local to Virginia are also included in this all inclusive rate. If your engagement session is a destination location or includes travel outside of Virginia there may be extra costs. All Destination Weddings are custom prices to include travel fees.
do you offer payment plans?
We do! I know this is an investment so we make it easier by offering a payment plan with 4 payments. We can, however, customize your payment plan if needed! We offer some discounts if you work with our recommended planners & video teams, so ask to see our list if that interests you! The non-refundable deposit to hold your date is 20% at the signing of your contract.
How do i receive my photos?
You will receive your photos through an online gallery link & download them to any device. As a bonus, you will also receive a unique app for their phone to access your photos on any mobile device! Share the link as you wish because they are your photos!
how many photos can i expect in my gallery?
It really depends on several factors: hours of coverage, size of bridal party, # of wedding guests, how many details you have, if you share any first looks, your reception events, if your guests are big party dancers, etc. There are A LOT of factors but generally speaking I would say anywhere from 75-100 images per hour of coverage.
how quickly do i
receive my photos?
2 years. No, I’m kidding! My contract gives me 3 months but I have never taken that long to deliver a gallery.
In the busy months (April-June & October) it could take 1-2 months. Engagement sessions are a 2-3 week
turnaround time.
what if there is bad weather?
For sessions, we can reschedule if the weather is bad, although we have shot in snow and rain! On the wedding day, of course, we can’t reschedule but James and I aren’t scared of bad weather! We'll show up with a trunk full of clear umbrellas (10+), a positive attitude, and a very flexible timeline. Fun fact, we've navigated 20+ rainy wedding days including 2 active hurricanes!
how do you back up our photos so they aren't lost?
Our cameras record each photo to 2 different memory cards. So if there is an issue with a memory card we have a duplicate! Before we leave your wedding, 90% of your wedding photos (except your exit photos) are already backed up on one of our solid state hard drives.
WHAT IF YOU CAN'T MAKE IT TO MY WEDDING?
In our 5+ years of photographing weddings James and I have never missed a wedding. While it is our goal to keep that record we can’t guarantee anything in the future, no one can! Our back up plan is laid out in your contract for you to review before booking but there are 2 basic options: choose your own replacement or go with our back up photographer friends that we know & trust (at no additional cost to you)!
