Fall Boho Chic Wedding | Richmond Wedding Photographer
I have been looking so forward to this day!! We actually met Tim & Caroline at another one of our couple’s a few years back. We remembered Tim right away because of one the most unique and special bonds he has with his Best Man Jack. These two share a bond that I can’t explain but I love it! In fact, these two care so deeply for their bridal party, more than any other couple this year I think!! I can tell how much they meant to Tim & Caroline because of all the “little things” they did for them like the most sentimental gifts, special group photo moments like first looks, and special photo requests!
It made me feel so honored to be there by their side that day as well!! And even though the forecast literally only called for rain one day that week (yes it was their wedding day), their attitudes about it made it so easy to work around! Honestly, I don’t know how I get so lucky with the most patient and chill couples but I am so grateful because you can’t change the weather?? So why let it spoil your day??? Well they didn’t at all, and instead, embraced it! And I bet you can’t even tell Caroline’s dress got a little muddy from our portrait time!
But back to the main event of the day. The moment during the ceremony when Caroline was walking down the aisle, Tim tearing up at his bride, and Jack the Best Man tearing up at his best friend’s reaction. I’m half kidding haha!! But I am so glad to have gotten the same photo we took for Abby & Jack back in 2019 with Tim looking at Jack! I actually included that throw back photo in the post, so please don’t miss these photos at the very end!!
But seriously though, Tim’s reaction is everything every bride has dreamt of!! It was important to them to wait till the reception and instead share first looks with their bridal party!! Which is something we’ve actually never done before! And again, you could tell how close this group of friends was because these unique bridal party first looks are precious!!
But all in all, this day was so beautiful at this new to us venue near Richmond and I wish I could relive it!!! Especially one of THE MOST EPIC MOMENTS during the open dance floor time I have EVER witnessed! One of the groomsmen took lead on the dance floor and directed everyone to sing the entire song of Bohemian Rhapsody. Yes you read that right, Is this the real life? Is this just fantasy? I hope it’s stuck in your head like it is mine right now *insert evil laugh*! But I will be sharing a TikTok video & REEL on Instagram soon of this because me telling you here doesn’t do it justice!!!
