Group Senior Session | Roanoke, Virginia Photographer
This was such a fun and NEW experience for me. I have been doing senior portraits for a few years not but never more than one at a time. So when these ladies inquired for their session I so excited and a little nervous. I have to say though, I am a HUGE fan now of group senior portraits! These girls made it SO easy the whole time because they made each other laugh. I barely had to pose them and make them laugh which made this session so easy!!
They graduated together from Jefferson College of Health Sciences and have been there fore each other throughout their time there. So for them to share this session was very special! I know nursing school is no joke and I so appreciate what it takes to get that degree! There are so many EHP Brides who are nurses and my sister is currently attending Jefferson! So I have seen what it takes to earn this degree. It takes so much work, 1,000’s of note cards, so little sleep, and most of all, a passion for helping others. I know all my nurses would agree that having a good support system is the only way to get through nursing school!! It was so sweet seeing these girls love each other like family!
Elmwood park was the perfect spot right near their school and the spring blooms just added the perfect pop of color! They matched the blues in the florals around the park as well as each other! Their cohesive outfits were not planned but looked amazing together! I always recommend for senior and family portraits that the colors in outfits be lighter toned and that best represent your personality! It is perfectly fine to have an all blue theme but to make each person stand out add in different textures and patterns. These ladies were spot on with their outfits!
I have been so blessed this season to meet so amazing seniors. These ladies have worked so incredibly hard to get to this point and I know their families are so proud! Enjoy a few favorites from this Roanoke, Virginia group senior session!
