An Elegant Estate Wedding | Lynchburg Wedding Photographer
Ready to meet my most patient couple ever?? Brant and Cassie waited 7 long years for this day to finally come! In fact, their sweetheart table featured the words “At Last” and when Cassie originally bought it for their August 2020 date, she didn’t know just how much of an understatement that would be! We all remember what that year brought on around the world and the affect it’s had on everyone-especially the wedding industry. Cassie and Brant were one of our couples who had to postpone their date to celebrate with their friends and family!
And like a few of our couples did, they decided to elope in 2020 anyways and wait to have the big celebration with friend & family! And I’m so grateful that I was able to stand by these two for BOTH ceremonies!! Their Christmas elopement in Downtown Lynchburg at the historical Craddock Terry Hotel. It was decorated with a large Christmas tree out front and we also took advantage of the twinkle lights in the outside for a few portraits! But their sweet intimate ceremony included their families, the wedding dress Cassie originally picked out, and their personalized vows to each other. These vows and one of their favorite portraits from their elopement were actually put on display at West Manor (see that below).
I loved getting to read through those and relive that moment!! Really all of the little details that went into celebrating their marriage last December were so sweet! During their ceremony they locked letters to each other in a box along with a bottle of wine to enjoy on their 5 year anniversary. And once they open it, it will be locked again and resupplied for their 10 year anniversary! I wish James and I did this!! 5 years go by a lot faster than you can imagine- if you’re married you know that! So if you’re reading this and looking for some sentimental & unique ideas to incorporate future anniversaries, this is a great idea!!
James and I are so honored to have been a part of 2 celebrations with Brant, Cassie, and their families. We also loved the opportunity to see some old friends at Entwined Events! So enjoy my favorite moments from this beautiful elegant estate wedding at West Manor Estate here in Lynchburg, Virginia!
Enjoy these never before seen Elopement photos from this past Christmas!!
