Vintage Summer Mini Wedding | Lynchburg Wedding Photographer
Our last wedding of the summer rush has come and gone!! I can’t even believe it that we are over half way through 2021!!! HOW CAN THIS BE?! These two inquired with me earlier this summer as soon as they got engaged and I felt so honored!! Chris has been a friend of ours for the last few years and has helped us with our home renovations time and time again. We are so grateful for the hard working and kind friendships we have in our life. And for those that have seen our home renovations in person, he’s the man behind all the fresh paint! 🙂 So shameless plug, go see Chris at the Forest Sherwin Williams for all your paint needs because he taught me so much!!
But anyways, back to the wedding talk… we had to wake up nice and early for this wedding day! It was our second ever morning ceremony which meant we had to wake up before 6am to begin the day and while we aren’t morning people, it felt like Christmas morning! I was so excited to celebrate Kristina & Chris with their families!
Kristina did so well planning all of the little details that went into the day to fit their vintage rustic theme! She added the perfect touches!! This chapel from the 1800’s also provided the perfect backdrop for a more vintage vibe with their hardwood floors, original pews, and the overall aesthetic. We had never been to this venue so we were excited to explore and get creative!
One of my favorite moments was their first look! Sometimes grooms cry but not every time! Chris didn’t cry at the first look (he did during the ceremony!!) but I loved his reaction!! His jaw dropped and he said the sweetest things as they met each other in the middle for a hug. Moments like this are why I love photographing weddings and being a part of wedding days!!
