I cannot believe I am sharing our last fall wedding of 2021!! We have been a part of so many amazing weddings this fall season and I’m so sad it’s all coming to a close but what a way to end the year!

Connor & Kaylynn had to navigate some crazy wedding day circumstances- rogue eyelashes, intense wind, frigid temperatures, and more! But I could physically see the stress melt away when Kaylynn saw Connor at their first look! I mean how can you be stressed when you see a reaction like Connor’s?! I seriously don’t know what is the water for these 2021 grooms, but there have been so many amazing and sweet reactions this year! It’s such a privilege to witness moments like first looks and sharing gifts!

I also had so much fun styling these details!! These purple, blue, and pink tones all came together so nicely. And I bet you didn’t even notice these flowers are wooden flowers!! I have to admit that whenever I hear that the flowers are fake, I get a little nervous because our macro lens can see the tiny imperfections in fake flowers so easily. It can be hard to hide the threads. But the texture with these wooden flowers photographed so well!! And I’m so proud of Kaylynn for hand dying them herself!! Like that takes some serious skill to do it the right way, and they turned out so beautifully! I grabbed some of the extra blooms for these detail shots and I’m so glad I did because look at how beautiful they turned out?!

I was so thankful to have a wedding day assistant as well to help make these photos happen! You might recognize our assistant because she is one of our #emilyhancockbrides! Savannah had such an eye for detail with her own wedding and I’m so excited to work with her again through this new role as a wedding planner and coordinator! And while this wedding was a lot colder than her own this past summer, I’m so glad she got to experience this day along side of us to learn first hand as a vendor. I may or may not have had her running around the venue delivering different items for photos and finding people to stay on time before the ceremony. James and I really enjoyed having Savannah with us and are so grateful Connor & Kaylynn welcomed her to the party!
