Summer Blush Wedding at Glass Hill Venue | Lynchburg Wedding Photographer
This past weekend we celebrated with Mehgan & Chad once more at Glass Hill Venue. Their wedding was originally planned for July but once COVID-19 prevented their families and friends from traveling they pushed it back to September. Honestly, this past weekend could not have been more perfect!
Mehgan’s attention to detail and her blush, gold, and navy accents put a modern twist on this elegant mountain venue. Seriously my photographer heart was so happy! She also choose some of the very best wedding vendors in our area to piece together an incredible team of vendors.
Mehgan & Chad shared not one but TWO FIRST LOOKS on their wedding day. Their bride & groom first look had us all in tears as Chad broke down crying over his beautiful bride!! Seriously these are my favorite moments to capture on the wedding day. I love seeing how much my couples love each other in this quiet intimate moment.
Right after their first look, a special member of their family wanted to share a first look of his own!! Their golden retriever, Ranger James Pinigis, wanted to see his humans too!! Ranger did so well and I could tell how excited he was to see them. We, of course, had a mini photo shoot with him too because even he had a suit for the ceremony!! I loved his little appearances through the day in their first look, the ceremony, and the dance floor!
All in all, I am so grateful to be a part of their story through their elopement back in July and their big celebration in September. The memories I will have from this day will always be some of my favorites of 2020! So enjoy reliving their wedding days at Glass Hill Venue!!

Florist: This talented team has a way with floral decor! They added the perfect touch to Mehgan’s elegant, modern, and blush theme wedding day. Glass Hill Venue has one of the best ceremony views in town and Bloom was able to accent the pergola so light and elegant to match Mehgan’s wedding day vision.
Mehgan was talking about how excited she was for her floral arrangements weeks before the big day!! As a wedding photographer, this showed me how much my bride trusted this team to complete her vision for the day (which says a lot about them!!). If you are in need of a florist, I highly recommend Bloom by Doyles!
Catering: Where do I even begin with this incredible gourmet food experience?! Michelle and her team at Purple Door far exceed any expectation of catering for a wedding day. I can honestly say that their exquisite culinary displays wow every one of my couples, their guests, and other vendors every wedding I work with this team.
Mehgan & Chad were spoiled with an elaborate brunch display, cocktail hour, and a creative dinner spread. My personal favorite was the pasta bar (yes you read that right…. A PASTA BAR!!!) featuring Mehgan’s Italian heritage and Chad’s Polish heritage.
