Annapolis Sailboat Engagement Session | Annapolis Wedding Photographer
Today on the blog I am sharing our first every sailboat engagement session!! Guys ever since these two reached out to me I have been SO EXCITED to not only meet this awesome couple, but be a part of one of their favorite things to do!
I will be honest, I felt a little nervous going into this shoot because I had never been on a sailboat before!! I had NO IDEA how much work went into maintain and using the boat and guys I have so much respect for it now. We learned some boat lingo thanks to Jeff & Heather (our boat drivers? captains? Sailors?), Will & Melissa. So I now know what the Mast, Boom, Bow, Lines, Teak Wood, etc. are… So basically I’m a pro now guys haha Just kidding, I think I will stick with photography! 🙂
We started this session on land around the Mariana & the docks then made our way to their sailboat! We enjoyed the creativity with our different lenses to get different looks and enjoyed the challenge of space on the boat! These two made this session look EASY despite our limited space and poses we had to work with!!
Chasing the sunset, we sailed out to the main harbor with the other boats and yachts to finish up their photos. All in all, we are so thankful that Will and Melissa shared this part of their story with us so that we could give them some truly unique engagement photos.
We enjoyed visiting the beautiful city of Annapolis, MD on our long Labor Day Weekend and can’t wait to be back one day!! But for now, I am going to relive this incredible weekend in Annapolis through this sailboat engagement session.
