Classic Family Farm Engagement Session | Lynchburg Wedding Photographer
I am so happy to be sharing these photos with you guys but I think I am more excited to tell you all about the evening we had with these two!! James and I headed back to their family farm for another round of portraits!! We actually met Davey and Daron at Kevin and Danielle’s wedding last year at Atkinson Farms! So when they wanted to book with us for their wedding I was so excited because we already knew and loved them from the wedding last year!!
I already knew most of the property from our last shoot with Kevin and Danielle but this time around Davey had some secret spots for us! I thought it was so sweet that he grew corn and beans just for our shoot! I’m kidding… but he did scout these locations for us and I love him for it!
We used his truck to get up high for a few shots in the corn fields and they turned out amazing!! That summer sunset glow on the rows of corn was so beautiful. I will be saving those spots he picked out for their wedding day coming up SOON! We kept them a little longer than a normal session because they are just so good in front of the camera and if you know me, you know that once I get on a roll with ideas I just keep snappin photos!
I mean when the groom picks out the locations for the shoot and he is
EXCITED to be with his almost wife taking photos… you keep shooting!! 🙂
Once we were finished with the shoot, Daron insisted on feeding us some supper before we headed home. One of my love languages is acts of service and Daron just completely made my week! Her dinner was delicious and we seriously could have spent hours upon hours talking with these two. On our drive home I was talking with James about how on earth we got so lucky to work with the Ferrell Family two times now??
Daron & Davey are the perfect example of why we LOVE what we do. Their love and support
means the world to me and I am truly so blessed by knowing them!
Next stop is Daron’s bridal portraits and then these two are getting MARRIED!!! I can’t wait to see them again in August but until then enjoy so many of my favorites with these two on the farm!
Side note: Davey humored me a little bit and took his hat off for some shots. He said some people may not even recognize him without and he was right!! A few people pointed that out on their Facebook sneak peek post! Haha!
