Spring Carvins Cove Roanoke Engagement Session | Roanoke Wedding Photographer
I have been to Carvins Cove many times before this session. In fact, every summer my family would take our kayaks down there and we’d fish our favorite coves, catch some sun rays, and get a work out paddling back to shore! I remember loving this place so much and now that I no longer live in Roanoke, I appreciate stopping by this location even more.
Anna and Anna (& their pup Mia) met up with me for their engagement session and while the sun was a bit strong throughout the session, I am LOVING these photos so much! I actually met Anna through Chris’ younger sister Allison- another Emily Hancock Bride!!! Anna was actually the dog sitter for Allison & Dakota’s pup Chloe at their session. She kinda got a sneak peek into what we do for our couples!
So when I saw her familiar name come through my inquiry form I was beyond excited to work with her and Chris! Chris had me rolling the whole session with his jokes but what surprised me were his ideas for posing!! It is rare that a groom gets into the session and comes up with his own posing. So I was pretty impressed with him!!
And don’t get me started with their pup Mia!! Honestly, this was her shoot and we were all just there supporting her haha! I don’t know how but Anna & Chris have her so well trained that she was even able to do something I have NEVER seen a dog do ever!!! To say I was impressed by this fun couple and their pup would be an understatement!
I am so excited to capture their elopement coming up in May!! They actually start the busy season of weddings for me so keep an eye for these two because you’ll be seeing them again soon!!!
