Spring Backyard Engagement Session | Lynchburg Wedding Photographer
We haven’t had an engagement session in Lynchburg for quite some time. So meeting up with these two so close to home was a treat! We absolutely loved spending the evening with these two and found out we have so much in common with them like working on house projects, dogs, sports, and my favorite: Virginia Tech! We always love working with fellow Hokies!!
And honestly when we first pulled up and started chatting it felt like we were meeting up with old friends. Her sweet mama made me feel so at home as we wondered their beautiful property! I was trying to tell Kathryn that their land would be perfect for photo shoots because they have backdrops photographers love and it’s close to town! 🙂
But whenever we click with our couples like this it really makes the whole experience feel seamless, easy going, and so much fun! Did I mention that they did exactly what their bridal guide said to do with their outfits?! This is literally what my photography dreams are made of!!

I share a 80+ page magazine full of wedding photography tips, planning tips, outfit inspiration, etc. All my couples get this in their welcome box when they book with us!! This answers so many questions for our brides especially and whenever I see that our couples are utilizing the outfit ideas it makes me so happy!
We will see these two next year at their spring wedding at Old Mill Farm Venue but for now enjoy a few of my favorites from Grant & Kathryn’s spring engagement session here in Lynchburg!
