Peaks of Otter Engagement Session | Roanoke Wedding Photographer
James’ first visit to the Peaks of Otter was a success!! We met Allison, Dakota, and their sweet pup Chloe for their fall engagement session and it went almost perfect…. If you take away me spilling a drink all over my clothes and shoes, a random dinner party taking over one of our locations, and the cold settling in too soon it was absolutely perfect!!
I think their amazing model skills, the MOST WELL BEHAVED DOG, and their excitement to work with us far outweighed the unexpected accidents! I told Allison I am going to interview her on the blog to go over how they trained Chloe because she was off the leash for 90% of these photos. There were tons of people everywhere too! I have never seen a more obedient and behaved pup at a session than Chloe! If you are a photographer reading this and need a dog to model for a photo shoot just message Allison & Dakota because I know Chloe would be amazing!
We had so much fun hanging out with Allison and Dakota! We always love connecting with our couples more than a typical photographer because we consider that to be the secret to amazing wedding day photos! These two definitely came prepared and their fun personalities made our job so easy!! Allison even quoted the bridal guide during the session which made my heart so happy!!
James and I created this custom bridal guide that explains everything in great detail (the usual for me…. sorry!! I’m type A!!). We send every one of our couples this guide to help them prepare for their engagement session and wedding day to receive images they’ve always dreamed of! So when my brides quote it and read it that makes me so happy!!
