A Summer Proposal in Roanoke Virginia | Roanoke Wedding Photographer
I have known Emma ever since she was born. And yes she has always been full of life and laughter! So when Braxton & her mama reached out trying to plan this SURPRISE PROPOSAL I was so excited to be a part of it but also nervous to keep it a secret from Emma!!
James and I love capturing this special moment for couples but every time I’m so nervous that I’ll say some with too much energy and excitement and give it away haha!! Thankfully that has lt happened in our 5 years of shooting these but I’m always sure to be hyper aware of my poses and things I say.
Braxton was also worried that Emma would see through this “impromptu” couples shoot so he had a trick up his sleeve to make to this a true surprise. And I’m glad he did because I think Emma was expecting it to happen at the park with us!!
Instead of popping the question at our shoot he waited to join their families at a family “birthday party”. Oh and James and I just happened to be there with our hidden cameras haha! And that’s where he said the prayer before before dinner and finished the prayer with “And Lord please let her say YES”!
And that was the easiest prayer answered because, of course, Emma said yes!!! Her reaction was everything I imagined it would be and I’m so excited to celebrate along side these two ringin in the new year!!
That’s right, we are partying hard till the ball drops on New Years!! And I can’t wait for it!!! So stay tuned for their fall engagement session and their wedding at On the Glen in Roanoke, Virginia!
