Hunter & Kattie’s Classy Early Fall Seclusion Wedding | Lexington Wedding Photographer
We always love a trip up to Lexington, Virginia to celebrate our couples with the beautiful mountain views at The Seclusion! We can never tire of weddings at this beautiful venue or working with the incredible vendor teams apart of their day! Hunter and Kattie chose some of all favorite vendors in all Virginia! Julie Rupert Events, Monika Garland Productions, and Holly Fox (with Adorn Salon) are always a pleasure to work alongside at weddings! It really does effect a wedding day when the vendors work together so easily! If your vendors can trust each other that is only good things for your wedding day!
This wedding was something special for James and I because we are jokingly known as the Rain Photographers for The Seclusion (see other rainy weddings at the Seclusion here). I can’t believe I’m saying this but the forecast for this wedding was absolute perfection! Cooler temperatures, sunny skies, and a constant breeze on that hilltop. It has been a long while since we’ve had weather this good for a wedding at The Seclusion!
On top of the beautiful weather we had amazing details to photograph! I’m a sucker for champagne and black and how sophisticated and classy everything looked! I think my one of my favorite details at this champagne wedding at the Seclusion was their dog cameos throughout the reception. They even had an artist draw their portraits with a special touch for the celebration (you’ll see what I mean in those photos below)! Julie (one of our favorite planners ever – Julie Rupert Events) did a phenomenal job setting up the reception space.
James grabbed some really unique detail photos of their table scapes. I didn’t have time to read the note Kattie & Hunter left for their guests on the wedding day but I loved reading that while looking through these photos, that was such a unique touch and surprise for their guests! I’m all about the little details like that!! We had the best time getting to know Kattie and Hunter over the last few months and we are so sad this day has already come and gone but we cannot wait to see these two again in the future!!
I will never forget Kattie coming up to me during the reception asking if we could take their baby photos, which was quickly followed by Hunter with “yeah but not any time soon” haha!!! Whenever the time comes we are so excited to celebrate a new season of life with them!! Until then I’ll be reliving this beautiful early fall champagne wedding at the beautiful Seclusion wedding venue in Lexington, Virignia!
