I am beyond excited to share this beautiful Mountain Top wedding in Roanoke, Virginia! Sami & I were introduced through a mutual friend and when I say we hit it off right away I mean it! I feel like I’ve known her for years! She is such a joy to be around and so kind. Dakota is truly her perfect match and we’ve really enjoyed getting to know these two at their engagement session, venue walkthrough, planning calls, lunch out together, their wedding shower, etc.
I’m not quite ready to share what we have been walking through in our personal lives but I will forever remember what these two incredible human beings did for us on THIER WEDDING DAY. Dakota, the words in your prayer over me are forever stamped in my memory with the photo of us. Don’t get me wrong, the stunning portraits of you two overlooking your mountain view are truly some of my favorite photos from a wedding day ever!!! But my favorite image from this summer mountain top wedding has to be that prayer with you, Dakota. *insert duck emoji here*
Working so closely with Sami throughout the process I got to see her hard work putting together all her florals, the little details they’ve put together for different elements of their wedding decor, a special surprise for their guests: A Blunts & Beers Bar, etc. The unique decor and activities for guests make this mountain view wedding a truly custom experience! I’m already waiting to hear what they are going to call their new side hustle of Blunts & Beer Bar because after couples see their set up they are going to want the same experience for their guests!!
Overall, this wedding day is one I won’t forget. These two mean so much to James and I. It was an honor to have celebrated alongside them, meet their friends and family, and see these two truly happy on one of the best days of their lives! We love what we do and when we work with couples like Dakota and Sami it fills us with so much joy!! Love you both so much and we can’t wait for you to relive your beautiful summer mountain top wedding at the Silver Hearth Lodge in Roanoke, Virginia!
