Triple J Farms Wedding | Roanoke Wedding Photographer
This wedding day was a H O T one!! While I am so happy that we didn’t have to dodge rain for Abby & Noah’s wedding day, I wish the cool summer breeze found us earlier in the day, haha! Seriously though, Abby & Noah’s wedding was absolutely perfect! It’s rare that there isn’t something that goes wrong but no one was late, nothing was left behind, and the evening unfolded perfectly! Maybe it was because Abby was more prepared than your average bride and had it all planned out?! I love my detail oriented couples!!
I absolutely loved the dusty blue bridesmaids dresses and her hints of blush pink throughout her decor. If you a bride planning your wedding reading this, here is a free tip! Colors are a super easy way to make your wedding day look cohesive and high end! And as a photographer, I loved seeing so many of their engagement session photos on display throughout the night. Plus I know they can repurpose these decor pieces in their new home! It’s a win win for wedding decor and makes your wedding much more personalized!
Now I have to admit I was a little more nervous for this day because Abby is family. James and I work so hard to make sure all our couple’s days flow smoothly and Abby has tagged along on wedding days before! So she has gotten a true behind the scenes look on how James and I work. In fact, she came up to me in the early part of the day and told me she couldn’t wait to see their sneak peeks later in the day! I’m sad she wasn’t truly surprised to see them but I feel like it’s different when you see YOUR sneak peek photos!! 🙂
One of my favorite parts of their day was their ceremony!! The view of the Catawba Mountains is such a beautiful backdrop for a ceremony and portraits. Abby & Noah decided to keep a traditional timeline and wait to see each other at the ceremony. And while the nerves may have made him super quiet all morning, I could see the relief and instant feeling of calm the moment he saw Abby. The lip quiver gets me every time!! And you don’t wanna miss Abby’s reaction to seeing Noah or the cutest ceremony exit shot!! Their pure joy and happiness in that moment is why I love being a part of wedding days and keeping that moment frozen in time for my couples.
So enjoy a few of my favorites from Noah & Abby’s wedding day at the beautiful Triple J Farms!
