Brayden & Allison’s Rookies Cookies Engagement Session | Lynchburg Wedding Photographer
Engagement sessions are always a fun time, or at least we try to make it that way!! But this one was especially fun because it involved ice cream and cookies!!! Which are my top 2 favorite desserts! Brayden & Allison, are one of our more fun and easy going couples so this season fit their personalities so well!
Rookies is a great location for a photo shoot, especially if you love ice cream sandwiches. The picnic tables and twinkle lights are the perfect backdrop for photos because the light (in the evening) shines so perfectly!
While we were there they brought their sweet puppy Georgia along to join us for photos! She was an absolute angel that should have enjoyed more than pup cup for her modeling skills!! I LOVE it when I can meet new dogs at sessions and always encourage, when possible, for my couples to bring their dogs!
After our time eating a treat Rookies, we headed downtown to continue their shoot with the iconic Virginian Hotel. Lynchburg has a beautiful downtown area with cobblestone streets and historic buildings. They changed outfits and dropped Georgia back at home before meeting us downtown to finish their photos! The sun was setting, casting a warm glow on everything around us. It was the perfect end to a classic downtown Lynchburg engagement session!
Overall, the engagement session at Rookies and downtown Lynchburg will forever be one of faves!! Brayden and Allison were a joy to work with, and their love for each other was evident in every photo. It was also a pleasure to capture a little moment with their boxer puppy, Georgia, enjoying her pup cup of ice cream. I’m looking forward to capturing their wedding day at Cedar Oaks Farm in Bedford, Virginia and continuing to document their love story for years to come!!
